[NEWS] X-5 'Miss Ripley' Cameo...Shows Off 'Hallyu Star' Presence {070611}

Group X-5's surprise cameo on MBC's "Miss Ripley" was a prominent
presence.X-5 participated in the 3rd episode of "Miss Ripley", which was
broadcasted on the 6th, as Hallyu Stars working with the Japanese Prime
Minister's daughter, portrayed by T-ara's Jiyeon, in the drama.X-5 stated, "We
were happy that we were able to be specially cast in the drama and able to work
with our seniors which we were nervous about (in a good way)" and "As much as we
were Hallyu stars in the episode, in the future, we as X-5 would like to become
a group that can stretch across Asia."On the other hand, X-5 is currently
promoting their single album's title song "The Show is Over" and on the 4th X-5
had showcased a brilliant performance during the KIMCHI Concert hosted in
Jakarta, Indonesia.

On April 24th, X-5’s official me2day shared a photo of the boys backstage of KBS’s “Music Bank” with their seniors g.o.d.

They wrote, “I am revealing a precious picture of us with our prestigious g.o.d. seniors backstage at KBS’s ‘Music Bank’ Do you see fangirl Jin? Kim Tae Woo is so! so! tall! and totally nice!! Our maknaes are already so tall, but standing beside Tae Woo senior…! Son Ho Young and Danny Ahn seniors are both so daebak ㅠㅠ.”

Kim Tae Woo is known for his tall height of 190 cm, so it was no surprise that netizens were shocked with the boys of X-5 being right on par. Jin is 189 cm, while Sulhu is 188 cm. Astonishingly enough, the group’s average height is 186 cm, so it’s no wonder that they fit right in with Kim Tae Woo.

Netizens commented, “They’re seriously of similar height with Kim Tae Woo, they must be so tall”, and“I’m so jealous!”

Open World Entertainment’s new boyband, ‘X-5‘, finally made their long-awaited debut on today’s episode of “Music Bank” with “Don’t Put On An Act“!

With a title track produced by hip hop’s big daddy, ‘Rhymer‘, the boys showcased an excellent performance that utilized the song’s electro hip hop rhythm for an engaging and complex choreography while also rapping about the betrayal of love alongside a synth rhythm.
